Currently, the Technical building code (CTE) existing since 2006 in Spain, collects the set of regulations governing building construction.
This document includes the basic requirements for safety and habitability of new constructions. The requirements of this document affect the phases of the project, construction, maintenance and conservation of facilities.
Today, all new buildings must comply with the technical building code, which requires a minimum contribution of solar energy to the building.
